Political Compass

Since we will be creating political ads this week based on what party you have been assigned to, it might make sense for you to take another political ideology test in order to better understand what the political parties stand for.

Political Compass has a good "test" here. Please post what your status is after taking the test and whether you think the test is valid.

  1. hello Mr. Bauer its Janett Gomez i took the test and it told me
    Economic Left/Right: -0.50
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.82
I'm not exactly sure if its valid but it had many questions that i agreed to,.. i think that basically this test wasn't long enough. But at the same time opinion's change so it might not be exactly accurate,.. maybe at the moment yes.

I...didn't understand a LOT of the questions asked, so I wasn't sure if this was going to be valid. But once I saw that my status is close to Ghandi's, then it made me feel better cuz I think he was a great leader, I guess you could call him. But, maybe they should word or elaborate the questions a bit more because I had to just put an answer for some of them. -__-

    1. hey bauer---
i took the test and my dot position was right next to Gandhi's. i think the test is valid because i believe in alot of the things Mahatma Gandhi did. i am liberal, but also conservative at the same time, and alot of the policies i stand for are about even on both sides of the scale, and i cannot be labeled fully as either one.

  4. I was also Social Libertarian. I tried to look up where this group stands on issues but it was difficult to find their stance on current issues. It probably does fit me because I am fairly liberal and think that the difference between the rich and poor class should be reduced. Also, I liked Gandi's way of protesting and life. I think that the test was pretty accurate, in my case at least.
