Welcome Back to School Class of 2013
It is time to start your senior year. You will be part of the 101st graduating class of Galt High School. Since this is your last year of free pubic education, it is time to reflect on where you have been and where you are headed. Take a moment to describe some of the proudest moments of your (academic) life so far or lay out some of the goals you have for your senior year. What lasting memories do you want to create for the upcoming school year?

My proudest moment in my educational career was the day I received news that I had passed the AP Calculus test with a score of 4. My grandparents and I celebrated when I got news of my score. Some close shots have been the report card I received last year that was (nearly) straight A's in addition to my elation at being a part of the drama productions last year. This year, however, I would like to accomplish more. I would love to see straight A's on my report card. I would also love to be able to leave the school and remember that I had helped to create memories and, as a Yearbook student, to preserve them for many years to come.
ReplyDeleteI was most proud that I passed my AP World test with a 3. I was really proud of myself because I had worked really hard in that class and it had payed off. This year I would like to get straight A's or close to that. I would also like to come more out of my shell this year and make senior year the most memorable.

The top 3 proudest moments of my academic life are: excelling in academics despite work/numerous extracurricular activities, being able to be participate in EOAP and their workshops (Health Careers Saturday Academy, UC Davis and College Success Institute, Summer Program, UC Davis), and last year I was part of the Leadership class- Student Board Rep. 2011-2012.
ReplyDeleteMy goals for my Senior year are to do well in GHS Girl’s golf, continue with my extracurricular activities, get awesome grades, and pass all my AP tests. At the same time, enjoy Senior year!
Someday in the future, I would like to look back at my Senior year and say that it was a fun year. I would like to be able to get all A’s, and be present at all the Senior Class activities. I would like to look back and remember that I was part of creating GHS yearbook to preserve of the memories of this year. I would like to look back and say that in these 4 years at GHS, I had done my very best.

One of my proudest moments at Galt High was not only making it on the Varsity Soccer Team, but also being able to become a "Scholar Athlete" and keep my GPA higher or at above 3.75 the whole season. This year, doing two sports first semester and one sport second semester plus three AP classes, I hope to do the same or possibly even better.

The top of my proudest academic moments is when I passed all of my classes last year with good grades, and passing World History with over 100%
ReplyDeleteMy goals for Senior year is to have straight A's, or very close to that. I want to look back and remember that my senior year was the best year, not only academically, but I want to remember it as the most fun year Ive had at GHS.

My education has taken me far. My proudest moments throughout my educational career have been passing French 1 & 2, receiving an A+ in Criminal Justice, and getting an A in Algebra 2. My A in algebra 2 was my proudest moment because I recieved an A second semester and a D first semester. This year I'd love to see straight A's. I want my senior year to to be my best year.

The proudest moment of my high school life was knowing that i would be the first of my family to be able to graduate and go straight into a 4 year university. My goals for senior year are to have fun, get straight A's, and ultimately graduate with all of my friends. i would also love to make this year memorable and enjoyable. I will try my best in every class and hopefully make Senior year better than all the others!

The proudest moment of my high school career would be maintaining a 4.0 and excelling as an athlete as well. Throughout my highschool years i have passed every class with a B or an A. Being able to keep up my grades and being a three sport athlete is a huge accomplishment for myself. I have recieved many letters, emails, and calls from colleges aknowledging me and my success. I am also very proud of the fact that i will be the first in my family to be able to go to a four year university. My goals for this year is to maintain a 4.0 and have all A's or higher. I also want to get accepted to USC or San Diego State.

Probably the proudest moment of my high school life would probably be the oldest one in my family to graduate from high school. go to a 4 year college and make my family proud and be someone in life.

One of my proudest academic moments being able to pass AP Physics. Also being part of Drama productions and Drama class. This being my fourth year in drama makes me really proud to say that I will be one of the few students who will have been in drama all of their high school years. I am also proud to say that I am a senior in high school because it means that I've almost been through all of my pretty much required education. I am looking forward to my final moments in high school, including my final moments in Drama and with my friends, and finally I am looking forward to graduating and going off to college. I hope to do well this year in school and get A's and B's in all my classes except for trig/precal...I'll settle for just passing with a C in that one. :)

One of my goals for my senior year to maintain a GPA above a 4.0 since I am taking four AP classes, and I would like to attend the University of Oregon. Another important goal I have is win a district championship for boys varsity soccer. I want my senior year to be filled with memories that I'll be able to look back on years from now and know that I made the best of my time here at Galt High.

ReplyDeleteOne of my proudest moments in my high school career so far has been my junior year. I finished my year off with 3.8 GPA, and that made me pretty happy. I wish I would've taken school a bit more seriously my freshman and sophomore years, although I still had good grades I could 've done better. My goals would be to hopefully get above a 4.0 with the AP classes I'm taking! I'd love to make more memories with my bestfriend Darla, (Logan Woods) this year and live our last year as "kids" together and live up all the fun times. After high school I hope to move somewhere near the beac h and get a cute little house with Darla and live the college life a bit;) it'll take hard work and a lot of dedication, but I'm determined to get to where I want to be.
My proudest moments of my high school career was during my engineering classes that I have previously taken in my freshmen and junior year because I was able to show what I was capable of doing and to test myself on how many challenges I will be able to complete and if I went above and beyond what the teacher required. I would also like to earn a master’s degree in civil engineering or in architecture. I want this year to be the most memorable of all the years I have attended high school because this year is supposed to be where many people have the most fun in their lifetime without worrying about a lot of responsibility.
ReplyDeleteI would hold pride to the things that I have learned in High School. It has made me who I am. Kids learn more than just a curiculum from High School, they learn life skills and they will develop who they will be. Thats what I would be most proud about, what I am now because of my expiriences in High School. My report car will reflect my desires academically.I would like to end the year knowing what is next in my life.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to maintain a 4.0 GPA or higher. Im planning on attending SF state.long beach or channel island . I'd also like to be as active as I can on campus. My proudest moment was getting an A in all of my A.p. Classes so.far in high school.
